Thumbs up Speed Is The New Black

Anybody catch this new show from St. Louis...?

This place is very close to my work and have had dealings with them for photo equipment/advice. Very nice place, very clean and the owner is very nice.

I watched the show. He does seem nice but I don't think the show will be around long. that should not reflect on the owner or the work they do, I just don't think the show really has a "hook" doesn't seem like to me. Putting a 347 in a '66 Mustang is not exactly a "call the press" sort of build. And then they lost ALL credibility when the one dude kept bragging on the 8 inch (yes, EIGHT) inch rear end they were using. Like that is a good thing. I wouldn't even have mentioned it to him if the guy I was paying $100,000 to build me a car was bragging that he was putting an 8-inch rear in it. I would have just got my trailer and drove straight down there and got it back. The stock 289Hi-Po with 270HP didn't even use an 8-inch rear and that was 50+ years ago!

I wondered about the 8 inch rear as well and I did like the Cobra build over the Mustang. This new show reminds me of Fantomworks which for now I like better.
Nice to see St. Louis on TV though.

Yeah, that's cool man. Always good to see the hometown represented. No worries there.
