Default Headlight wire colors in the loom

I found it once, but didn't bookmark the page... And now can't find it again. Search gave me a handful of posts on the upgrade, but not the one identifying the wires to use as relay triggers.
What are the identifying colors for the headlights (high & low) in the harness loom by the Radiator?
I'm building my relay circuits for the upgrade.
I can't find the post I was reading... I'm not sure it was a FEP post or not.
    Thanks

The trigger wires will be the positive leads for the actual headlights themselves.

I believe the two wires are Light Green/Black and Red/Black IIRC.

The Light Green/Black should be low beams and the Red/Black should be High beams, but I would have to go out and double check a car to be 100%. If no one else confirms the colors and wiring for you, I can check tomorrow. Good Luck!

I thought I'd read somewhere the wires changed colors at one point... X in the loom & Y at the headlight socket...
But if they're the same from one end to the other, all the easier. Thanks

I don't believe they change color in the loom as that would make tracing wiring issues very difficult.

I generally mount my relays either close to the battery or on the radiator support to keep the runs as short as possible. Then I pull the trigger wires from the headlights closest to where the relays are mounted. I have done it on every Fox I have had for the past 15 years since its a quick and easy upgrade.

When I redid all of my wiring on my 84, I'm 99% positive that the wiring stayed the same color from switch to headlight bucket. I'm also pretty sure that Trey is correct on the color of those wires.

Same all the way down the loom.
    Successful upgrade. Thanks Fellers!
