    Default Front frame rail repairs

What's up guys I have just Little bit of frame rail work to do under my battery box but my buddy has an 85 GT that he's had forever and doesn't want to part with. Problem is his rails are shot. Have any of you guys used the aftermarket replacement rails? His alternative is that he's seriously considering tube frame from firewall fwd. Thanks

You could always cut the parts out of a rearended car that's not worth saving. Anything 79-93 works afaik.

I have patched frame rails in the past (forward of the k-member). However it the damage / rot was anywhere in between the firewall and the mounting area of the k-member, I would use the replacement rails that are now available aftermarket.....

I got them from from Late Model Restoration and had no issues.
