    Default Differential question

This isn't really a tech issue so I figured I would just ask on this forum about the fluid capacity in the diff on my 79 Pace Car. I just installed a new gasket and looked in my Haynes manual for how much fluid to put in it and it said 2.5 pints which is ridiculous. How much is the correct capacity for the differential? Thanks guys.

2 to 3 quarts, plus friction modifier unless your gear oil comes with it, or you do not have a limited slip.
