The trim between the wheel wells, yes...the trim on the front and back (including head light buckets and hood stripe), no.

Yea doesn't look like 32 year old patina unless some shiny stuff was applied but looks like the right shade of gray. Looks pretty original under the hood, batt cables, hoses etc..nice car !

Sorry....still looks correct to me. I'd say the sunlight on those front pictures is just playing tricks.

The trim on the flexible bumpers typically deteriorates over time and was probably resprayed with the SEM product...it's too light...otherwise, nice car.

We can argue for sake of arguing all we want, but we are just talking about opinions.....which mean nothing unless one of us is buying the car Cameras (definitely cell phones) and lighting can make anything look too light or too dark....or even wrong shade of a color.

My car with 16k miles has zero deterioration in the front and rear trim1....100% original and still looks just as good as it did day 1 (as does the car in those pics) Very easy for me to believe this car is in the same condition as mine with only 7k more miles.



Mine....two different cameras, two different photo sessions, two different lighting scenes.

Man if you got time to kill on Saturday or Monday let me know....you are welcome to come by and see the "aero garage" I got going on right now with my buddies '93 MKII and my 92 Calypso and 93 Feature. If the weather is nice we can drag out the '85 so you can compare it to yours. I live ~20 minutes from downtown Indy and the Speedway.
