Great save. Really clean looking car. 85 or 86?

    Love the 80's graphics

Love those old Cragers. I wanted a set like that in the late 80's.

What engine should be in it? I'm guessing no engine by the way she's sitting?

    Nice Capri!

It appears you have an addiction that is even worse than mine at this point in time!

Wonder if it has something to do with the fact yours is a factory 2-tone? At least that is the way I read that portion of the bucktag.

To clarify, I would need to double ck my marti report. I believe mine had lower charcoal accents and that it was painted "silver" at some point in its life before I got it.

Paint on both of those cars looks pretty bad.

1D = Dark Grey Metallic (Mustang)/Smoke Metallic (Capri)

It should not look like a light grey or a silver.

STANGMAN116, Mine has "71" on Marti report for Dark Charcoal Lower Accent Paint I guess that means tu-tone. (Correct me if Im wrong FoxChassis). Are cars are very similar. I have PW, PL ect that you have listed by Fox Chassis. The one exception is interior color. Mine is Canyon Red and the t-tops.

Yes, "TT" on buck tag and "71" on door tag, owner card, and Marti report.

    It was TT/XP in 1985.

Hard to say for certain, but from what I can see of the door jambs, I don't believe yours has been resprayed.

I believe what you see are the horrible effects of SUN Damage on mid 80's grey/silver paints. The silvers, greys, charcoals, etc. of the mid 80's did not withstand the test of time. Especially when subject to constant sunlight over the years. Yours is pretty washed out, but I have actually seen much worse where the paint has completely failed down to the primer and ultimately that failed and allowed extensive corrosion that normally would not occur.

You know! A set of Enkei Mesh wheels would really look good on that car. Especially in Black!
