Default Skinny(er) fronts on turbine rims

What tire would you recommend for the front of an 83 capri with turbine rims. It will have 255/60/15 mickey Thompsons in the rear. I'm looking for a big/little look with the right stance. I'm thinking 195/65. Any help will be welcome.

Depends on how much a "big 'n' little" look you're going for. The 195/65s would be ~2" shorter than the 255/60s, which may be what you're looking for; to me, that's too much of a stagger. Doesn't look like there are much of any options in 195/70, though. You could do 205/65s up front, which would be close to the same diameter as the stock 225/60s, and would be ~1.5" shorter than the 255/60s.

My favorite big'n'little look is when the fronts and rears are the same height, but the fronts narrower. P255/60R15's are about 27" tall, so something like common size P215/70R15's gives nearly a 27" height and about 1.5" less width. Your call. P195/65R15's up front would be about 2" shorter and ~2.25" narrower than the rear tires.

Yes turbines all around. Trying to get it back to its former glory when my uncle owned it.

Not a 2-door but this may help...195/65R15 fronts with 275/60R15 ET Radials out back. The front is extra low right now because the coilovers are bottomed out...so the rake is even more exaggerated. The tires need to be replaced when it's running...not sure what size we're going with yet.

Heres 275/60's on ten holes with 195/60/r14 up front on my 86 cougar.

I was actually a bit disappointed. Fit and looked alot better on my 87 tbird. Tons more room out back.

Yeah, it does look pretty mean. But when it's in the garage next to the mini-tubbed car, it feels like it's the height of a monster truck!
