Good thing I was because the corner of the lower air dam was just resting under the core support. I was able to lift and wiggle it free and set it on top of the car but you can bet the guy with the fork lift would have just slid the forks under there and torn the lower air dam....way too much work to get out of the loader for a pile of scrap.
Just giving you a hard time! I completely understand and obvious a good thing you double checked the car in the yard to prevent further damage! Congrats once again on a heck of a buy!

Thanks. After I unwrapped it I also found that it had FloFit seats with the hard to find Foxbody seat mounts. I am more of a OEM guy but the seats look pretty cool.

I'm still trying to figure out the upside down front bumper support.

I just saw this thread today and I got the FloFit seats, a nice looking '83 hood scoop, 140MPH speedo, a very nice and straight looking unobtanium 79-84 rear bumper right off.

The cowl cover/grill looks in great shape.
    And the radiator grill.
And the Ford oval in front.
    And both lights in back.
And the bright orange speedometer needle.
And it looks like all the rubber baby buggy bumper molding is there. (And not even curled up on the end !)

If by any chance you are planning to part out the car please let me know, I´ve been searching for some convertible parts without any success.... (mainly trim)
