Default Well...Another Fox Followed Me Home! RESURRECTED...AND SOLD!

Let me start by saying that I was NOT in the market. I did not find this car...this car found me, thanks to one of the many friends I've met over the years in this car hobby that like to help me spend my darn money

Car is a 1992 LX, 5.0 Hatch in Calypso Green. It has 10,599 original miles and has been sitting in a storage unit, untouched since 2003! My plan is to start working on it later this winter...just no time during the summer. I will drop the tank to inspect it and blow out the lines. Probably will change the fuel pump, and after that she should fire right up. I turned the crank with a ratchet and she is not frozen up.

Once running I will have some detail work under the hood to get rid of some surface rust & corrosion to make it look new again. As for the exterior and interior, well she's as nice as you would expect for 10k miles. Still riding on the factory original Gators

Older gentlemen that drove a truck all his life. The Mustang was basically a rare weekend toy for him early on. He is now basically homeless with all of his life packed into two HUGE storage units...been like that for nearly 20 years! The unit this car was in was full of boxes and a Ford Fairlane. In another unit he has an original owner '65 Fastback that he wants to fix up and sell. Looking to pack up his life and the Fairlane (minus the two Mustangs) and head out west.

He found a guy in the restoration industry that knew me and asked him for assistance finding a buyer...and well, here I am Lucky for me, this guy uses a burner phone with limited calling availability, and has never used the internet or email....so I was able to take my time without fear of anyone else finding out about the car. You know what they say...some times the sun shines on a dog's a$$

Nice find Jason. It fits well in your collection!

By you doing some work on it in the winter; are your plans to get some enjoyment driving it next year a little?

In all honesty, my initial plans are to flip it in 1-2 years as I just don't have the space. If something changes and I can find the space I'd certainly like to keep it as it is a nice fit with my others. Time will tell I guess....but yes it will certainly get cruised as soon as I get 'er running. MAYBE later this year, but I doubt it.

Great car....I bought a 1993 Calypso 5.0/5spd new May 18, 1994 from Haynes Ford up by the NY/VT border. I was 18 at the time. I had to sell my 82 GT to get it, said my mom. Great color always like seeing it. Great find. When you sell, I'd hang onto those wheels/tires.....very rare tires.

Nah...if/when I sell it the wheels & tires will be included. To bring top dollar it will have to have those in order to remain 100% original....along with the battery
