    Default wiring ignition?

    Hello
I recently acquired a gutted 86 mustang now I am in the process of re wiring it with a after market wiring harness. My aftermarket harness diagram has 5 wires for the ignition switch. IGN SWITCH ACC , ING SWITCH, ING SWITCH COIL, STARTER, POWER. My stock ignition switch that hooks to the column has 2 yellow wires, black/ green, white/ pink and , red/ green, and 2 pink/white wires. How would I go about hooking the after market harness to the stock switch?
    Thank you

Start with looking at a diagram.

I like Tom Moss' work on wiring diagrams so here is that link http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/images/IgnitionSwitchWiring .gif

The Red Green Wire is the one to use for powering a 6al box. It maintains power while cranking.
