    Thank for your input. As for the quarter, do you mean the cut outs for the trim (see picture)? If so, it doesn't appear to be a big modification. I considered a repair but the quarters were repaired long ago and it's starting to rust again. From what you stated, have you replaced quarters on a fox body?

    Well, if that isn't a nice toy too! Now just take the drivetrain out of it and out it in your PC!

    I'm sure Trey has replaced a quarter or two in his time. If you need any help, let us know. I don't have as much fox specific panel replacement (though some) as Trey, but I have lots of experience with countless other models.

    My latest update. After debating what to do, I finally decided to do a full replacement. There are a few differences that I was not aware of. The groove in the quarter panel where the hatch struts are located are a different design. Other than that, they appear to fit reasonably well.

    I have been unsuccessful in finding quarter panel patches for wheel house repairs. Has anyone used fenders or have any tricks up their sleeve they can let me in on?

    I patched the inner wheel wells on my 82 GT (where they meet the q-panel) using patches cut from old fox mustang fenders. Not a direct fit, but it worked well considering I have not way to form panels in my garage....

    Unfortunately the pics are hosted on photobucket so you won't be able to see them....

    Your work on this Pace Car is coming along nicely.

    Thanks for the information. I was considering doing exactly that and hoped someone else had succeeded in performing this repair. Hard to believe there are still not many parts available.

    You’re seems as though the fenders work for wheel houses. I am using a combination of glue and spot welding.

    Has anyone used Cleco clamps to align panels or just used self tapping screws. Iíve used self tapping screws with reasonable success and just wanted to know how well it works.

    The great thing about a long weekend is I can spend some time in the shop. I finally began welding the quarter in only to have issues with my Hobart welder. The spool ran out and I purchased a new .025” role only to find it doesn’t role evenly.

    Here are some progress pictures.
    Before I installed the quarter, I changed the location of the drain hole to the wheel well instead of the rocker panel.

    I’ve finally completed the installation of one quarter. As mentioned previously, the main differences were extra holes in the quarters, the window openings are different and the area where the hatch struts mount needed substantial modification.
