Yes it's possible. Check out Phoenix upholstery in Franklin Square. They do excellent work. I had them repair a split seam on my 69.

Wow, that would be great since they are on Long Island. I will check them out. Assume I would have to take seats out for such repairs ?

    Thanks a lot !

If you live near by drive the car over if possible. I pulled my seat and dropped it off. They repaired it within a couple of days.

The split down the middle of the seat bottom is not a split seam. It's basically where the stitching outlived the vinyl after its dried out. The entire center panel will have to be removed and replaced with a duplicate panel. It might be difficult to match the color of the surrounding vinyl, but you never know these days.

There is a place out in Oregon that stocks all kinds of Ford fabrics and seat materials. I was able to replace some of my seat panels and stitching. ( same color charcoal gray vinyl ) I don't remember the name of the place, but a good upholsterer should know about this. This is a far better way to go instead of new reproduction seat covers.

SMS Auto Fabrics has tons of OEM material and will most likely be your best option to match your seats.
