Here is one on stock ten holes, 225 up front, and 255 in the rear.
How about 15s or 16s with tires with a low aspect ratio? Kinda lookin for a road race look. Nice car man
I doubt you're going to find many pictures of foxes on here with anything lower than a 60 sidewall on a 15, once you start going lower on these smaller wheels, it starts looking more like a low rider/hydraulic car than a "road racer". These smaller wheels weren't meant for low profile tires.

I'm diggin that desert tan hatch. It's the same color as my predator except for the rub strips. The reason why I wanted to see "road racer" style cars with thinner sidewalls is because I was curious if anyone would've posted a wheel and tire setup like the mustangs from ATCC. Specifically dick Johnson's greens tuf and pine PAC foureye cars. I'm dying to find out the wheel and tire specs of those cars. Ive searched and searched but to no avail. I've only been able to scroung the diameters. And they're either 15s or 16s someone pleeeeeease have information on the wheels and tires! Sometimes the car can be seen with wider wheels, like the black and white photo. I don't know, maybe it's me, but that wider setup is what I'm really interested in.

Sonic blue pearl, sand beige, netted halos, FR500 wheels and shiny under the hood.
Here are the specs. In the early days, Dick Johnson experimented with BBS split rims, but they tended to explode under exterme Australian (Queensland and sometimes Bathurst) race conditions. So the Australian Simmonds wheels were what was used. B45's.
Dunlop 265/630 slicks, then they got DOT Hoosier A6 in 275 45 16.
25.7" (653 mm max front height), 24.8" always clears (630 mm)
See 4th link in my signature.
http://www.nzmustang.com/Images/Hist...s/pinepac1.htm
Wheels, tyres: 16inch Simmonds 3 piece, 265/630 Dunlop racing slicks.
Note:
The whole wheel size thing was fixed in three steps.
Step 1. The 1984 with SVO offset 225/50 16's used the S shell uprights and arms (LSC/Conti Compact), but the the LSC VII and the 16" Crown Victoria rims work best if you use the earlier narrow track, and don't go to 58.5". 56.6/57" track is best, and use the SVO offsets.
Step 2 was in 1990-1991, where Ford did some 1969 tircks on the 1991-1993 Areo front gaurds.
Step 3: The LSC and 1982-1987 Continental got the bigger internal wheel envelope as the whole S shell was a new super structure on the old 1980 Stirling built XR7/ T bird, and if you copy that wheel arch profile, you get a heap more space. BBS Mesh rims were designed for the 82 Conti Compact from Day One. Ford then used them on everything 5 stud, and imported form NZ Cheviot Mesh as replacement TRX rims for ASC McLarens.
The "open up and radius" on these 91-93 Fox Mustang gaurds, 69 Boss 302 stlye., gives you just enough room with some 8 mm spacers. Rack limiters or the lower control arm with blocker horns is another.
Font's are always an issue.
I used my wifes RAV4 235/60 16"s, depending on if you use LT or SUV Load class, a 17 to 12 mm tread depth tire 688 mm unloaded or 27.1".
The old racer trick is to scrub them down to 3 to 6 mm tread depth, so they are now shaved down to about 660 mm, near enough to fit if you do the wheel arch clip.

Yeah I read that thread about the PINE PAC car already.. that's how I found out the diameter, but I still don't know the BS or offset or even the width, tho I'm sure they're 10s. Anyone know how those guys back then were able to stuff a 10" wide wheel on all four corners and still have all that clearance between the outer fender and tire??????? I've searched photo of the suspension and it's really nothing special, excluding the mono lock hubs. It just appears to be coilovers. I think the rear is indeed a single unit coil over setup but I don't see how that setup could allow for more wheel clearance. Btw, rolling the fender doesn't really bother me anymore, so that's not issue. I do plan to run coils and since that 17x10/9 thread I have gotten an sn95 five lug conversion and rear brake swap. I've heard the front sn96 spindles can actually help fitting 10s up front. So, Anyone hv info of the wheels in question? Specifically the offset or bs and width? How did they get that tire to fender clearance? I'm just trying to steer clear of flares, seeing these cars got me excited that I could get a wide wheel/tire setup without drilling or cutting my predators fenders to fit them! I appreciate the pics and help guys

there was freedom to bend the plastic work around with some internal stiffening.
Same with the suspension coils. In Group A, if its safety, you can reinforce, or update to a different configuaration as long as its still got the same pickup points...even if they aren't used anymore.
The Maier front wheel house and gaurd removed showa the standard adjustable spirng platforms.
http://www.mustanglab.com/maier-raci...mustang-coupe/
Adjustable spring platforms, and F1 style cast aluminum uprights. Tight wound colis take up less space, and there was no truck load, so they put the springs at the back above the axle...
Standard 17 x 9 and 17 x 10 back spaces offsets for 275's apply to 16's as long as you use the adjustable platforms.
Dick Johnson also had major issues with the Atlas ZF 7.5" axle, and couldn't get to the proper 57" Tank Fairlane 9" axle soon enough.Originally Posted by xctasy

The New Zealanders on the Pine Pac Black car and Abes Babe kept the 7.5" Atlas, but 32 got a 9" axle before the scrutineers knocked it back.

You lost me on that explanation on swapping parts of wheels with other wheels haha. I know the "f1 style" spindle help with front fitment but I obviously am not going to do that, and (tell me if I'm wrong, because your rear end explanation kind confused me) those axles you speak of will help with rear fitment. But it I understand correctly the part that will help with fitment the most would be coilovers? I think that, combined with carefully selected offsets, tire size, and fender roll I should b able to fit 10s all around. Yes? No? Maybe so? Sorry for all the questions, I like to be thorough

BBS rims were originally split rims, so you can mess around with offset.
Grab a plastic LINCOLN MARK VII 84-92 1984-1992 FENDER LINER INNER FENDER, drop a Mustng fender and you'll see that it just takes a little guard pump to fit 275's in the front. LSC's were designed to take 245/60 16's, but will take much more. Its the height and width that prevent the bigger tires going in.

Ok I think I understand.. You just pop the bottom part of the fender and bumper and fab something up to keep them popped out.

My sn95 axles are too long aren't they? My buddy let me borrow his saleen wheels 17x10 with a 30mm offset and 275s. They would've rubbed but I thought with a slightly higher offset and rolled fenders they could've fit. Why does everyone have so much trouble fitting a 10" wide wheel in the back?
http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthre...75-40-r-17-fit
10'S are listed as 23.9 mm offset, but else-ware it stated as 6.29" backspace. 6.46 to 6.5" backspace is normal.
They fit with stock 56.6/57" Fox tracks.
Fox axles are 29.16" long ea. 57" rear track, stock offset
1994-98 axles are 29.91" long ea. 58.5" rear track, stock offset
1999-2004 axles are 30.63" long ea. 59.94" rear track, stock offset.
Soo going SN95 means you need about 0.75 to 1.5" less back space than 6.5".
If you can find offset to suit, all good.
Mustang wheels that are out there in 9" and 10.x" will not work well with SN95 width axles in a Fox body.
