Default Duraspark 2 white wire not getting power

So, the white wire that hooks up to the duraspawk module is not getting power when cranking, like it is supposed to. The red one is, but regardless, the car won't start. Is this an issue where I should start with the ignition switch? Everything else regarding the ignition switch is a-ok...

Check continuity (and for shorts, disconnection, etc.) of white wire between ignition switch and module, and between starter relay S terminal and white wire/plug at module. See if there's 8-12 volts at the S terminal on the starter relay. You should be able to do without it, so I'd be checking the red wire/connections as well if it won't start at all, but the white wire is to connect to/with the starter relay S terminal, indicating cranking to the module, to retard the timing some to apparently lessen the load on the starter.

Alright, so this is probably a stupid question, but I'm a complete idiot when it comes to wiring (if not in general), and I look at the diagrams and I fail to see the starter relay on either. How is it connected to the ignition module? I was pretty good about labeling where all the wires went before I rebuilt the top half, and I either lost or never had any wires going from the starter solenoid to the ignition module. I did get a new ignition module and replaced some of the wiring.... and I must say the POs wiring has been... interesting. So maybe I missed something there or it was juryrigged to somehow work without being connected to the relay??

There's no stupid questions. You're right, those diagrams at the stuff I linked only show the actual wiring circuit for the Duraspark II ignition. For ALL that's related with your vehicle, you'll need to be looking at a wiring diagram to see how everything needs to be and how you need to have it all and to check things.

PO's wiring is often... interesting and git-er-done... to say the least, LOL!

Wiring diagrams are here at FourEyedPride in PDF format:
