Default New Member from NC, 30 Year Owner of 83 GT with TTops

Hello to all. Bought my first and only Mustang on my 21st birthday 30 years ago. I am a retired US Marine so it has been all over the US in transfers. Stored it for 6 years while stationed on Okinawa Japan. Even met my wife of 26 years in it. Best thing is if the marriage does not work out I still keep my little lady. She has been in restoration for almost 2 years. (T-Top Felt sucks to replace). I am enclosing a few photos of her. Before resto, before paint and a little more recent photo. Interior is wrapping up and hope to be done in a month or so.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for the add.

Darn laptop. Cut of my gratitude to my my brother Steve for all his help. I am a rookie but he is an awesome body man. He wanted me to hard top it. Wife said she would divorce me. If I did not like the T-tops I could have been free.

I never seem to get the nut that holds the steering wheel fixed

Welcome to the site. That black paint looks awesome! So neat you owned it so long. Also, thanks for your service. It is greatly appreciated.

Agreed. Sad so many are unhappy with their situations. I am sure not. Good Mustangs are everywhere.

I just joke about my wife. I am married to the best friend anyone could have. She hates my "Black B@" as she calls it. But, she is the reason I still have the car. She would never let me sell it even during tough times. She gave it to the name because when she drove the car she has got 2 flats, broke a radiator hose and the heater core went out on her. Has never had anything ever happen to me.
