Default The G.T. 350 that never was but should've been.

Im building this at this very moment. Have wanted to for years but couldn't find a suitable starter car. Now I have and we are running with it.

I've already purchased a lot of the hard items to find. Still need a few nitpicky items. But Im having a blast finding them. The car is in disassembly and cleaning process. Here is what Im starting with.
Its the best car to start with that Ive found. The G.T.350 R Coupe. My dream car is coming.

I'm digging it Bro, just 1 thing....Can you up it to a Dominator also? There were 2 Hatchbacks, 1 T-top and 1 Convertible made back in '84, adding a Coupe would be too cool!

Why a turbo 4 when he could build a twin turbo 347!

Why not? How many turbo 4 notches were there......? Hmmm? Hmmm? Let alone, in GT350 trim....... (sorry, kinda partial to the turbo 4).

I actually just saw a "GT350 clone" coupe for sale locally, it does look very good!

    I vote for a 5.0!

Because 8 cylinders are cooler than 4 and you can make a ton more power!

    Cool concept and build.

A Folvo 2.3 would be pretty cool in a project like this; 2.3L with the Volvo 4V head. CAn't go wrong with the V8 though. I've a lot of experience with the 3.8L V6, having built eleven of them for road racing and they can get the job done but aren't sexy. The 3.4L SHO V8 would be unique.

    Hmmmmm....

Being as how it is a GT350 I think I'd probably go with a 351 inch Windsor.
