Can you get to the buck tag for this car, or take a pic of it? How many miles on the odometer? does it have any of the following options?

    console

door mirror with or without remote control
    engine block immersion heater
factory front speakers: single speaker (in center of dash) or dual speakers (one each corner)
factory wheels: steel wheels with turbine covers, wire covers, or center caps with trim rings, or 14" 16-slot aluminum wheels, or metric TRX aluminum wheels
    four-way manual driver seat
interval windshield wipers (twist knob on end of wiper stalk for wiper time delay)
    leather-wrapped steering wheel
light group (light under hood, light in glove box, light in front ash tray, light in trunk, pivoting map light)
    lower bodyside protection
    lower tu-tone paint treatment
    power brakes
    power door locks
    power steering
    rocker panel moldings
    tilt steering wheel

I'll get a picture of the buck tag later on today. The odometer rolled over so my guess is 113000 as it had 79000 when registered in 08 according to the title. It looks like a bare bones car with no passenger side mirror, no interior lighting, no intermittent wipers, no center counsel etc. it does have a 2.3t and the 8000rpm tach gauge cluster.

Thanks if decoding the buck tag. I'm hoping the build sheet is under the carpet. I'll post pictures of it if found. The doesn't seem to have many options though.

Haven't found the build sheet yet. I peeked under the carpet, but found nothing. I'll be moving soon so both my pace car and coupe will be at the same location so this will make life easier. Indoors as well. It's a tad bit hot here right now in Az too spend anytime outdoors. Other than the drive train and suspension I may bring it back to mostly original including the vinyl top and chamois interior. Time will tell.

Here is what was left of the build sheet. Not sure where the left 1/3 is. I find it interesting that the 73 written on the bottom of the page is also written on the back of my car where the license plate goes.

Spent 7 hours last Sunday working on the paint. Looks like it came out pretty nice. Looking for a new chamois top. No luck yet on a place to purchase one. If anyone knows of a place to get one it would be much appreciated. I checked SMS and one other place mentioned by another member mentioned without success.

I have decided to try and keep the car as stock looking as possible with the chamois interior and all. It will also stay a 2.3t car. Not sure which 2.3 will end up in it, but probably this one. Name: IMG_0199.jpg

Just an idea, try calling a local Cadillac or lincoln dealer to see who they send cars to for vinyl roof installs. Maybe they can match something up for you.

That chamois car at Streetside Classics is a stunner. Very few early four eyes are that clean and (mostly) stock and unrestored, Pace Cars excluded. That car has lived a pampered life. And wow, what a price.

Nice find! Good luck with everything!

Odd someone put dual exhaust tips on the car at some point. Where did you find the build sheet? Both of our San Jose 79's were under the driver's seat tucked in a spring.

It was stuck to the bottom side of the back seat. There was a white pad stuck between it and the floor. That's why I missed it the first time. The car has duel exhaust because prior to me purchasing the car it had a V8 in it.
