Default 1982 Mustang GL Hatch- A perfect car for a Valley girl

This is located up in the San Fernando Valley, home of Valley girls and the Brady Bunch house:

    https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sf...051555549.html

Very clean, perfect dash, broken taillight.

Straight six auto- Why do sellers talk about work they've done under hood, but never show under hood pictures? it's just aggravating!

If that mileage is correct this is a very nice survivor- California stopped issuing blue plates in 1982, so this almost certainly California driven from new.

The VIN has the wrong first digit, but moving it to the last digit gives us this:

1FA: Ford vehicle built in USA
    B: Active belts
    P: Passenger car
    16: Mustang 3 door hatchback
    B: 3.3L Straight 6
    7: Check digit
    C: 1982 Model
    F: Dearborn Assembly
144414: Need to confirm final digit

Great deal right there for a time capsule! Grandma got that new when she was 60 and drove it until now

I was secretly hoping to see French Vanilla interior, black leather is a nice surprise!

    Looks like a smoking deal.

Most of these older Mustang's have vinyl interior...not leather. It looks more like the vinyl grain.
