Just wondering, after clearing out codes that I found with the scanner, doing repairs, will the codes show up right away if they are still there, or does the vehicle need to be running a certain amount of time or miles to trigger them?

Just wondering, after clearing out codes that I found with the scanner, doing repairs, will the codes show up right away if they are still there, or does the vehicle need to be running a certain amount of time or miles to trigger them?

Codes will set after they are triggered by the self test checking for that fault fails. Depending upon the code, it can come back right away or take several days or longer. It just depends on how long it takes to get operate under the same set of circumstances that triggers that code.
If you can post your codes there are usually some members who can interpret them for you. List of trouble codes is also available on several forums and Google.
