Looking to keep the exiting water and oil gauges in my 82, but would like to put new readout on the gauges that have numbers instead of the stock "normal" readout. Anyone know where I can find new readouts to fit in the stock gauges?

While nothing is impossible, simply replacing the gauge faces ("readouts"?) with numbers to coincide correctly with meaningful readings with the system's gauges and sending units should prove to be a monumental undertaking. I haven't seen anywhere, anyone mapping out what exactly the factory gauges' sweep range of NORMAL means, in numbers. A search in the forum should provide some threads where people have installed aftermarket mechanical or electrical gauges into the cluster or into the cluster face, and their corresponding sending units for accurate meaningful readings.

I called LMR and they told me that Sunpro makes some gauges that will fit into the cluster, look factory, and provide numeric readings. Thanks for the help!
What are the details on these gauges?
