The dash and glove box bezels on my SVO were looking really rough. Nearly all the factory flocking(fuzzy texture) had worn off and it was stained and scratched in several places. I purchased a "suede tex mini flocker kit, nylon charcoal grey" for $32 delivered from a place at www.donjer.com.
The instructions was easy to follow. The hardest part was sanding the bezels with some 220 grit sandpaper to get them ready for the procedure. It took less than 30 minutes to apply the adhesive(which smelled like liquid Permatex ultra black/grey silicone) that you apply with a brush, then dust on the fibers with that supplied tool.
I'm not 100% certain on how it looks compared to a NOS panel but I do know it looks a ton better than it used to. I'm very pleased with the results. If you wanted a better color match I'd try to add some black flocking and mix it with the charcoal gray to make it a little darker still. Looks quite silver like with the camera flash but still looks quite good.
Here it is just after all the material was dusted on. Makes a pretty good mess. After it dries the extra will be reclaimed to be used again if desired. It just needs to stay on thick until the adhesive fully cures.
Here it is after curing and the dusting off of the extra material.
And here it is installed in my car.
