I've lived in St. Louis all my life and I never watched him play at a litttle venue Blueberry Hill. Noe I sadly regret that.

My Ding-A-Ling. I'll always remember him singing that song back in the day. RIP Chuck

There was (gone now-parking lot) a bar in south St. Louis called "Twenty North" where a Grateful Dead cover band used to play. One Friday night in the early 90's I was there with friends and in walks Berry with his guitar case. He lets the band finish the song and ask to join in.......it was magic.....after the bar closed we all went for breakfast.
I've met him many times, hard not too living in St. Louis all my life. Always pleasant and a gentleman.
    RIP Chuck...

I've seen Jakes Leg plenty of times at 20N They still get out but I haven't seen them in YEARS! The only band I've watched recently is El Monstero at the Pagent.

They were a fun band. Dave the lead guitar was a photographer so we got along great. I still have a bunch of boot leg tapes a buddy made while they were playing at 20 North. Great stuff!

Last band I saw live was the Scorpions twice in the last year or so.
