    Default 84 Mustang LX vert 5.0

    Would sale or trade this, for a drag car, roller or maybe suv. $7500 make offer




    With 10 Holes new tires , would discuss including TRX wheels.

    PO died and I bought it not running , but it's now purring. It started as a v6 but was converted to v8. Best conversion I have ever seen. Even the Ford mechanics could find no faults, it had a transmission leak I had them fix. All Later model Stock components used, I believe it was 90 as there was a manual for that included. Springs still have the Ford stickers. Has 130k original miles. PO bought it in 96 with 98k and started the conversion in 2004 finished in 2005 . Car has had 2500 miles on it since then, 500 by me in the last couple weeks. It drives as to be expected , tight and right. Paint was done then also , it's a good paint job, but not what I would consider top show quality. You can see some orange peel. Has a couple little paint chips that have been touched up on the hood and I caused a little damage to the paint on the lower front bumper unloading it, only really noticeable if looking. New seat upholstery and top at that time also. Don't let the mods fool you, this is a great driver car that runs good, not really meant to be a racer. Sorry the underbody shots were so dirty, if I can I'll get it back on a lift.

    Car really needs to be driven to be appreciated , it's tight, rides stock, and has enough power to get out of it's own way.

    rebuilt distributor recurved for all in at 3000
    Holley electric rear fuel pump


    Transmission:
    AOD with 4r70w gearset 2.84 first , 1.55 second
    Lentech Street/Strip Terminator valve body calibrated for the gears
    2500rpm converter

    Differential:
    8.8
    3.55 rear gears

    Body:
    Top replaced with paint
    Ford full length rocker reinforcements
    Strut tower brace
    K-member brace
    89 LX tail lights
    10 holes with new 225/60 tires, will include TRX's for right price


    Problems:

    Top needs help going up at this point, goes down fine , haven't looked into it and back window has distortion.
    Looks like someone stuck a cover over the dash at one point and you can see where the adhesive pulled color, has a crack that runs between holes in the center speaker opening
    Speedo is like 5% off.

    Located in Bonner Springs, Ks, will drive it to you for fee, as long as there's no snow..

    Sold the Capri, but this is still available. Will consider trades with cash for another Mustang. I have a motor and transmission from my 83 so projects would be considered.

    Is this the same car featured on here, equipped with the new 16" TRX wheels, from about two years ago? (I thought that car sold?!?) Either way, clean conversion.

    Bump up, with a few edits. Car spends most of the time sitting in a store room. Drove it to Roswell NM last year, and drive it enough to trust it anywhere.
