Well tomorrow is Veterans Day. Would love to see a foureye parked out front of a military related establishment - i.e. Military Base (good luck), VA related building, recruitment center... You get the idea, Show Some Support!

Looks like this has been a great year for "The Game", gang. Fantastic.
My apologies for being away for so long. Life has not been good, expecting my second back surgery before the end of the year, (and the entire process actually started back in May; been dealing with severe pain since before then). Anyway, no more excuses. I plan to be more active on the site, but sometimes life gets in the way of plans.

Ok sooooo... something hunting related, double points if it ends up on your table next to the cranberry sauce on Thursday.
Bummer! I dodged turkeys 10,000 ft in the air while driving my truck on a path barely big enough for it....or a turkey for that matter.

I'm an FEP Supporter and proud of it. Are you?
Ok. So since no one ate thanksgiving dinner, we'll try an easy one. Your fox in front of the town Christmas tree... or yours if it looks like the Griswald family Christmas tree
That will do. Glad someone is still playing.
yea I been looking for a better lit up place but seems no one is going overboard. Thats the neighbors and they keep them on all nite
Still a long time to christmas so more lites or blow up dolls LOL
You still have those headers?
Looks like the participation has been great this year. My apologies for being MIA, gang. BTW, I loved the "Veterans Day" challenges.
My back surgery is scheduled for December 18. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will be more active on this thread, in the game, and in life in general, during the new year. I have not worked since November 2012. I have a Social Security Disability claim in-progress. In order to have some type of income, I took early-retirement, (i.e., reduced monthly benefit), from the State position I held previously.
I pray to God that 2018 is a better year for me. I did graduate from Boise State University this past summer, so 2017 was not a total loss. I did, however, expect to be working again, but I cannot even get any prospective employers to grant me an interview. I think my working-career is over.
Enough of the pity-party. Great game everyone. At some point after surgery, I plan to go back to the beginning and reread the entire post; sort of a "2017 in Review" kind of thing. I love seeing the pictures submitted and hearing about everyone's adventures during the game.
I have made zero progress on my Ghia. If the surgery does not go well, or results are not as good as expected, I may have to sell my Ghia. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
