    What is the best way to fix warped body molding?

    I spent hours peeling the metal pieces off the rear of all of mine then laid them down flat and they straightened up on their own in time.

    Just be aware that although the 85/86 moldings are much more prone to shrinking than the 79-84 moldings, that removing the metal backing from the moldings can cause them to shrink. This is especially true on the door moldings. Now that the door moldings are available reproduction, that is always an option if your moldings are in really bad shape. Good Luck!
