Congrads having your car on TV! At Milan no less.
Showing our gen cars in a real light for once, intended or not, rather than adding to the forgotten and gone image.
Filmed in our own 'backyard'. A Detroit area based car show for once. 'Bout time.
Didn't pay much attention until they started calling out local cities. Whaaa? What's this?
Then seeing local landmarks.
Good luck to them. Real car roots from the Motor City area add a different perspective in these type of shows.
The other car/truck shows are interesting too. How to and not to.

I like the guy that runs that shop. He seems to really care about Detroit and American cars and American history, not just ratings or making money. That is cool your car made the show. Neat.

I meant to comment earlier dburdyshaw, I AGREE! If you read above I said the same thing. This may be the only TRUE car guy show there is at this point. He really loves Detroit and the American Auto Industry and America in general. They may have me fooled but I don't think so. I think if he was not making hardly anything and had no TV show he would still be doing EXACTLY what he is doing.

I was going to see if that 74 Road Runner they did was available to look at in person.
Detroit is not that far away but thankfully far enough.
Nope
Someone stole the tv car from the Detroit location.
That's Detroit for you. Avoid it.
Random carjacking, stealing cars, deadly shootings, common occurrences everyday.
No matter what the news or anyone says, the whole city is out of the ordinary dangerous.
Most that live in Metro Detroit here stay out of the city limits.
I know that we're not supposed to indulge in political, religious or socially inflammatory conversation. But, since the comment was made about the state of the city of Detroit and the thread wasn't closed, I feel obligated to respond.
I was born, raised, educated and have worked for and in the city of Detroit "proper". 54 Years and I haven't been stabbed, shot, car jacked, robbed (except by someone I know), arrested (except for drag racing), I haven't been to prison, not on welfare, nor do I have several "baby mommas".
Detroit is NOT the cesspool outsiders want to make it out to be. Yes, all those things mentioned happen......just like they do in ANY large city.
The part that sticks in my craw, though, is those same detractors of the city are PROUD to leave Detroit in their description of where they're from, as in "Metro"Detroit.
I mean no personal offense to anyone's opinion, but I'm offended by the characterization of the place I call HOME........by choice!!!!!
