Default Vacuum controlled switch, 83 Capri

Hoping someone can tell me what this switch switches. It is mounted on the rear side of the drivers side fender in the engine compartment. The vacuum line originates at the back of the spacer block with the throttle butterflies in it. Just the one line to the switch and then the two wires coming out the other side. I'm just curious but I think it is related to the charcoal canisters.

That's it! Thanks for the answer. I looked at the decal under the hood but obviously missed that. Since it controls the thermactor solenoid I'll not have to worry about it then as mine is all gone.
