    Nice car man. Where did you get your dash pad from? TMI?

    What did you have to do to the frame rail?

    @Dave
    Yes the pad is a TMI.

    For the frame rail, I used replacement rails from foxresto. The drivers side was rotted away almost completely as their was a brake fluid leak, so had to completely replace that one by cutting it out, then welded the new one in.

    The passenger side I had to use about a 1/4 of a replacement rail to repair near where the battery sits. Fortunately the strut towers are fine as the car was mostly taken care of, just not really ever driven.

    What would you like to see specifically ? The lighting sucks in my garage so I avoid them, but I can make a point to do one if you need a reference image

    Ok what are those rails under. I can't find them. I put in frame rail on the website and nothing. Help me.

    That interior looks great, all original! Mine has a GT interior and is not original to the car. I don't have the sticker either, mine is painted on.
    I do appreciate the info and the heads up on the rails. I am working on another 83 and the previous owner cut the rails for a turbo. I may do like you said and piece one in.

    Did you buy the dash pad directly from TDI? Thanks

    I got it from TMI through Summit Racing. I went through a binge on summit after watching roadkill because they wouldn't shutup about it

    As for the rails if you are handy with a welder they are pretty user friendly. I ended up using about 1 and 1/4 frame rails as the drivers side was a lot worse than the pass. The kits are kinda pricey, but they come with everything you need and look perfect ( I painted mine because they come silver)

    The interior also isn't 100% original , I re upholsterd the backseat with the old interior from my uncles 1956 F-150. I think it gives it more of a "hot rod" look. No ones ever sat back there while I've owned it anyway, at 6'3 I sure can't sit there lol.

    On the to do list is the drivers seat, it has two rips along seams. The pass side one is pretty much perfect. The inside of my top needs some need staples as well to hold in the pad that goes against the rail.

    here is a wider shot

    @GTRAG - Do you have power windows on yours ? Do you have the manual roll up rear quarters ? 83 was the only year you could get them. It's really weird having power windows AND manual windows in the same car from the factory. It does look neat though, reminds you that 83 was right on the cusp of tech, when old stuff was still around, but was being phased out by new advances in tech (Like EFI to come)

    Well, isn't that interesting! Manual windows in the rear and power up front. I learn new things every day.

    I'm loving your car, btw.

    83 didn't have rear power windows. That one year vert quarter window. Try to find the guides for the belts. Good luck
