    Default Convertible Quarter Windows

I am in the process of repairing the wayward quarter windows on my convertible, and I need the front up-stop bumpers for both quarter windows. Does anyone know where to find them, or others that would work? Thanks.

Late Model Restoration and I believe C J Pony parts both have them.

The part I am looking for is the rubber bumper that attaches to the window mechanism that limits the upper travel of the window.

I checked both, and neither one had them. I thought that someone would know of another source.

I have attached a picture of the part from the shop manual (part number E3ZZ-7621762-A).

I don't know of any repos for that piece. Might have to try and get one at a yard or if someone is parting a vert. Sometimes Fox Resto has NOS parts for sale, you could check with them?

I resolved my problem, and I will post it here for any others that need this same part.

I checked the dimensions of a lower door window stop bumper that is reproduced for 1964 to 1968 mustangs. While it is much larger, the pointed end that attaches it to the metal is the same as the one on the foxbody front up-stop bumper. I bought one of the 1st gen lower stop bumpers and cut it half, then trimmed it down to the width I needed. Now I have new front up-stop bumpers for both sides.

Shoot, I should check my car. I never even looked to see if they were still intact!
