TAB/TAD swap
I've got faulty solenoids again. But I'm unable to locate '86 solenoids. I've read on here that I can swap over to '87-'93 solenoids, as long as I use the connector from those solenoids. But what I'm curious to know, can any 5.0 Ford TAB/TAD solenoids be used, say from a Crown Vic? Did they use them on other engines?

So I just answered my own question, in a way. I did some research, and it seems the valves used in the Aero foxes were later used in the late '90's on Ford product 4 wheel drives to engage and disengage 4 wheel drive.
