I have an 83 Turbo RS that I'm starting to perform some performance updates on. The car has a Walbro 255 pump in the tank with the inline pump removed; 36 lb injectors - converted to the LA3 computer, etc, etc. I was running the stock fuel pressure regulator and wanted to be able to turn up the base fuel pressure to eventually turn up the BOOST .
I purchased a BBK fuel pressure regulator and installed it. I found I could raise the base pressure but that the pressure no longer increased with boost! BBK tech support says thiers are not meant for boost - so I turn to you, my co-harts in 2.3 Turbo's for advice. If your not running the stock regulator, what are you using and how satisfied are you with it?
The plan is to eventually add an HX35 turbo I have sitting on the floor of my garage but its baby steps
