    Default Opinions, Please

I've been looking at colors for my 84 notch, since I can't work on it for a while. I found a 69 Plymouth color (don't hate me) that I think would look pretty sharp on a coupe. It's code T5 Bronze Fire Copper. I have a charcoal interior to fit in it, so they wouldn't clash

    TIA

I'm very familiar with that color. It's an awesome color, but your paint guy had better be good. It likes to halo if he screws up applying it. I say go for it!

That's a cool color, but why not just use the 1984 Mustang Copper color paint code 9C. It's a cool color, a FORD color , and would be correct for you Mustang.

Thats a good color, also. It's a bit darker, but might look good.

Thanks for the lead. I'll have to look at some more cars painted that color

if memory serves there were some wild colors available in the F150 and Explorer lineups 1992 - 1995+.

Also in years like 74 and 79 Fords commercial vehicle lineup had amazing colors to pick from

check out the 1979 commercial vehicle colors. Stuff like 2504 Medium Chesnut poly or 24548 Ember Poly.

I might be a bit darker, but that is one of those colors that really changes depending on the light source due to the metallic in the paint. I would recommend trying to see an actual car in that color up close or at least spraying a test panel of the color (both colors actually) before making your decision.

Oh! Also always choose your paint color in natural Sunlight! That is where you car lives most of the time and where you drive it. Unless you are building a show car that is only shown indoors, always choose your colors out in the sun for accurate color representations. Good Luck!

If it one of those types of colors (my old Roadrunner was Torr Red; red during the day, but orange at night) that would be cool, too

I am a huge fan of House of Kolor paints for that exact reason. Between Kandys, Metallics, and Pearls I can do all sort of cool and crazy things and that is even without getting into the "Mystic" flip flopping type of paints.

My truck is painted with House of Kolor Majik Blue Pearl which sometimes looks like a Cobalt blue and sometimes look like Burple, I get compliments on it all the time.
