I have seen similar products, but not this one. Seems interesting, might be worth giving it a try.

    Thanks for the link
What? No super glue and baking soda? Caulk and house paint?
Been wondering how to knock down those raised edges without butchering things.
Trick is to get the grain pattern back.
And to get some theory why they crack in the first place. Dash flex i assume.
No two seem to crack in the same area.

Additional links provided some ideas on doing the ds armrest.
Need some newer tech foam in there or something.

While this looks good I admit, I question how long it would last. When I stripped all the vinyl off my dash pad to fiberglass it, I found that the vinyl had hardened/shrunk and the glue had let go. Its the glue letting go that will probably bit you in the long run.
If you blink at the end of the straight away you'll miss the twisties and what fun would that be!

Dr Vinyl won't touch 30 year old dashes for that reason. Or when they do they don't offer any warranty.

That's a lot of work to do for a cracked dash, and if done right looks good and should hold up fine. Although, the price of all of the materials, may end up costing nearly as much as a replacement dash, but if you have more then 1 car with a cracked dash, and good at body work, this could be a good deal.
