Default What did you do to your four eye today? 2017

Got my rear hatch back from body shop today. Had them fix the couple of rust bubbles that had started forming around the spoiler.

They didn't exactly go above and beyond, could have touched up a couple other areas. But anyway, the car isn't perfect and the rust was my main concern.

Got the 4 lug stuff back on the front of the '83 with new brakes, braided stainless hoses, new struts, new tie rod ends, test fit the ten-holes and started re-aligning.

Next up, 4 lug axles back in the rear, new drums, shoes and hardware, finish the alignment and get her out for some spring drives!

First drive in the SVO this afternoon. Took it to work after lunch.

Felt good to be back in the drivers seat again.

Briefly glanced at it as I got in my other car because it's left me sit almost every time I've driven it for most of this year.

Got the alternator installed in the T-Machine and took it for a short drive to the end of the driveway and back into the garage. Tomorrow will concentrate on the brakes so maybe a longer road trip will be in store!

That is so cool! Glad I got lucky and was searching Craigslist in CO while in FL! You ordered a really cool GT I must say. If I didn't already have my 82 GT T-top car you might not have gotten in back this time! I was really tempted even already having one.

I knew it from the first pic in the CL post! What I got when new was not exactly what I had ordered though, ordered Recaros and ended up with T-tops! I hate to say it but that was the last thing I ever wanted...but due to delays in getting the seats as they were back ordered or something the wait was still 6-8 weeks out and T-tops were then on "sale" my mom ok the change with the salesman with out my knowledge, and it still took like another 4 weeks or so...but what can you do!

Fired up my 85 GT Road Racer! Still not driveable, but she runs!

Bought an 03/04 Cobra Rack & Pinion for the 82 GT today off Ebay! Now I just need to get to work!
