Sold the '92 5.0 & T-5. The buyer doesn't need it right away so I can pull it this winter when I have time to swap in the 408/C6. While we were hanging out he was converted from just a patient of mine who has a passion for blue oval toys & brews good beer into a friend. No real "work" done, but still, it doesn't get much better than that!
Didn't work on my car today but did pick up this x pipe off of CL for $50.
Continued painting the belly. Started a while ago, when the engine was out, and had done all the engine bay and around the the inners to the fenders and all underneath as far as the diff, when I decided that was far enough for then, without having to pull the rear end apart to continue any further. I had gone that far while the engine was being rebuilt, and once the engine returned, I was eager to get the car registered for the road for the first time since I had owned the car. [86 GT Convert]. As I had now to replace the control arms, thus giving the access to continue the process.
Officially back on the road after (too) many years sitting waiting for attention.
Purchased a new Dart SHP block for my new'85GT T-TOP car.

This last week I've been able to accomplish a lot. I got the front widebody fender at least started to be mounted. I still need to fix the door fit, but it will be good enough to move on the other side and get it ready to fit the hood and the front bumper assembled. The rear fender is cut out and ready for the fuel door to be fitted and then the widebody fender can go on permanently. I also had enough time to get the rear of my nothcback put back together with everythign cleaned and sealed (and the redone taillights).

Cold rain day.
Undriven for 3 weeks due to flush tee-heater hose clamp leak.
Replaced tee. Had a flat spot.
Read over-tightened worm gear hose clamps can warp plastic fittings.
Repair ok.
Looking for right size spring clamps
Aired up tires. Low due to colder fall weather setting in.
During this, a brief weird hail size sleet weather event happened.
Added 1/2 tank gas, hopefully cool weather blend not leftover summer blend.
Stupid little wet Honey Locust tree leaves fall all over the place. Neighborhood trees.
They get down under the car's trim moldings, rear spoiler, and are hard to get out.
Decompose to mush, attract dirt, then try to start rust.
Stick to glass.
Had to add a screen under the cowl grill to keep them out of there.
Next to fall is their ugly brown banana peel like seed pods.
Adjusted the Holley two barrel's idle mixture screws a wee smidge outward (richer) for better, smoother idle with the somewhat colder temperature outside.

Just received my new headers. BBK un equal length ceramic. Went with these for ease of installation, and later repairs if needed. Will lose a few ponies but new engine will still be more than I need.

Put her away for the winter.
Received the new fuel tank sending unit today. Cleaned the Aeromotive fuel tank and installed the sending unit. Want to adhere new the padding on the tank. Need to order that. But in the mean time, want to clean up under the area where the tank is to be installed. Maybe repaint the underside.
Pick up an intake manifold gasket set for an air gap install and a new carb.

This weekend I finished up the rear passenger side flare and fuel door, then swapped my 8.8 axle to 5-lug and disc brakes.

Dropped off distributor today at engine builder so he can install. Just need to fab spark plug wire holders. I was amazed how clean and sharp looking my engine is. Don't have all specs handy right now. Do know compression is 9.8 and holds 8 quarts of oil with filter.

Me - I haven't done jack to any of my cars for the last month or so.
I need to get the SVO in the garage and pull the trans so I can get the flywheel resurfaced and change the clutch.
