Yesterday I drove the SVO to work and then washed it after dinner.

Tonight I ordered a new T-Top headliner and some emblems for "The Rotter".

This weekend I finished up the install guides for a lower radiator support and a pair of caster / camber plates before going on to start working on the exterior mirrors and sail panels for refinishing / painting. A little sanding, filler, and SEM extrior paint and they'll be sweet.

Replaced the old timing belt tensioner and spring yesterday (belt is new) on the 85 2.3, runs great now and passed the safety inspection. Time for 2 year plates....

Drum brakes suck! It's always that last spring that sends the job into a tailspin.

Last time I did it, it took me awhile. I almost forgot how to do it, even though I have done plenty over the years.

I did my drum brakes a few weeks ago. There was grinding back there and the brakes felt spongy. Ended up being the master cylinder, but rears needed done anyways.

I had the last spring all but on, grabbed a pair of pliers to try to tap it on, of course it shot out, hit me right between the eyes and i had no saftey glasses on.

Funniest thing ever, the day before at work i was making fun of a guy for soing the exact same thing and was bragging that i always wear my safety glasses.

Oh man, I'm convinced there's no way to do it alone. Luckily both sides (driver Saturday, passenger Sunday) an unfortunate friend/relative showed up right when I was at the breaking point.

The passenger-side wheel cylinder/hard line put up enough of a fight to make me question my life choices thus far.

NOTHING! I have spent the last several days dealing with daughters, in-laws, and my own parents being in town!

The GOOD NEWS is daughter #2 graduated HS last night! Two down and one left to go! No I just have to figure out how to pay for another daughter in college!

Congrats Trey! My oldest boy's last day of H.S. was yesterday and graduation is next Thursday. Then it's off to UNL where mom and dad will be in debt forever.
3 years left for the youngest and then we can repeat the graduation and college ordeal all over again.

As for the car, I haven't touched it. Been too busy trying to get the house done for the graduation party. Never have put laminate flooring in a house, so this will be my learning curve. Hope it comes out looking good.

Good luck with the graduation and paying for college!

Hope everything goes well with the flooring and the graduation party! I know how that goes all too well! Hopefully I get to play in the garage all weekend long on both the Road Racer and the 82 GT!

That sucks on the weather. We have been hammered here the past couple days with high winds, rain, lightning and hail. No twisters in the immediate area though.

Headed to that show I was excited about. Without the car. Ran out of time again. The fuel system just needs a few more things done, and then i need to do some test driving to work the kinks out of the brake system. BUT.... it's been raining for the past WEEK.
