Bled the brakes today. First time so it probably took longer than it should have and a couple of the lug nuts were stuck as all hell.
My helper didn't exactly have a lot of lower body strength either...
Finished my new carport. When the wife bought me the GT back last October, I just had one of those prefab double metal carports, barely wide enough to fit my truck and boat in there. So I built a 24 x 28 carport, with concrete, steel and all, it was right at $3k. My father in law and myself did all the work. Now I got plenty of room, enough for 3 vehicles side by side, you might be able to see my boat is turned side ways behind the Mustang. So now I have a great place to do some work on the mustang.
Took mine out on the school run... such a happy car!
Pulled out my motor (need to change oil pan gasket and put on MM solid motor mounts) also started cleaning out 30 years worth of grease and road gunk, the steering rack was covered with 1/4 of crud!

the clothespin clips were a good idea.. i watched a youtube video from lMR and did it like they said and I held mine by hand and waited till the glue was pretty dry then moved to next section.. clips would have made it better..

thanks...they were cheap springs off ebay.. add said 2" lower rear and 1.6 front.. may not have lowered that much... but close.. If I hadn't already had it linedup I would have cut 1/3rd of a coil off fronts... roy

I converted an aero non-sunroof headliner that I had in the garage to the 4-eye sunroof headliner mentioned. It was the OEM cardboard initially and I added a layer of heavy paper to the board after cutting it to fit the 4-eye roofline, then covered it in black headliner cloth. There wasn't a 4-eye dome lamp opening in the headliner, so I measured approximately where to cut and made the hole where I needed it.

Two items done over the weekend were a Team Z Motorsports lower radiator support (replacing my damaged one) and a set of Caster / Camber Plates.

Got an alignment/balance yesterday. The thing is actually enjoyable on the highway now. Imagine that.
Rag joint this weekend. Stay tuned for hilarity as I turn a 45 minute job into a two-day affair.
Last night I ordered a roll of 3M double-sided automotive tape for the side moldings on The Rotter (baby steps....)
This showed up today!
Now a few more modifications and hopefully the 82 GT will have some Hydro Boost brakes very soon!

Mocking up one side to get the juices flowing and imagination. I'll put them in storage for another few months to get the car driveable before starting the 5-lug swap and widebody portion.

Dash lights were not working on the T-Machine even after upgrading all the bulbs to LED so I had to replace the Printed Circuit assembly, got a replacement from NPD. Worked like a charm. Also upgraded the voltage regulator while I had it apart. Everything but the Seat belt indicator works now. I attribute to the bulb screwdown being bad because I swapped in one of the others and it work. So posted up to the WTB because I cannot find anyone who carries those.

I put both of my Four Eyes in storage up the street....for the SUMMER Yeah...I said for the summer. I have two SAAC MKI/II's coming to my place for the next few weeks so needed to make room for them. They are not mine....just storing them for a couple buddies that are showing them here at a couple local events...including the SAAC (Shelby Club) National at Indy Motor Speedway, June 8-10. Plus I need to get the Caypso LX out of the trailer and in the garage so I can start thinking about getting it running. Guess that makes me an Aero guy until later this summer....sad, I know
Good news is its only a 5 minute walk to the storage place so I can grab the keys and go cruise one anytime I start going through withdrawal

Swapped on some 10.5" wide Cobra R wheels with 315 and 335 tires to verify fitment for another thread. Would have liked to play with the Road Racer longer, but the rain started again!
