    Default 1982 Ford Granada Wagon

    Hi all,
New member still trying to figure out the site. I found this Granada in a barn not too far from my house.
Maybe someone can tell me more about it. I think it could be a cool, dare to be different ride, particularly if Mustang parts swap over to it.

Welcome and yes! Many Mustang parts do swap over to it.

thanks for replying, guys. I'm not much for computers, but the information available on this site is great. In answer to a few questions:
I'm in Northern Va. The wagon is light blue. The odometer reads 0385.3 (Have to assume it is 103,000) Car needs a good cleaning inside and out.
I hope to post a few more pictures tomorrow. Still working on my computer skills. As original and unmolested as this car is, I wonder if I might be better
passing this on and working with a car with less chance to be restored? I'm open to thoughts on this topic. In the meantime, I will get it scrubbed and share some photos this week.

Do what you want with it. People like Fox wagons because of what you can do with them, not because of how slow they were originally, haha.

Got the outside washed up a bit. It is getting pretty cold to do much outdoors. I hope to get the seats steam cleaned this weekend.

Thanks for the positive comments. I hope to be ready to cruise this summer. Just need to replace/upgrade a few things.
Maybe you guys could give me some pointers on where to get weather stripping, carpet, a new dash pad, and reverse light lenses.
I have one lens, but the other is yellow as can be. can it be cleaned up?
I am going to try to restore the steering wheel. I have been following the 83 LX Capri that davedacarpainter has been working on. (Awesome thread, by the way) and think I can use some of his techniques to at least make it serviceable for now.
I'll post some pics of the interior soon. I have a ton of questions.
