    If it helps with perspective I paid $3800 for my 86 GT (so EFI, no carb) convertible with 9.5/10 paint/body, 8/10 interior, 5 speed, and 102K miles.

    I can tell you looking at that one it has the wrong rims and (unless my eyes deceive me) is missing trim. More pictures would help if there is any way that is possible. I just had to do the waterpump on mine, speaking from experience they are terrible. A bolt twisted off and it took almost 20 hours to do the swap. I was up until 5 am on a school night. (back up at 6:30)

    But in the end, if you've looked at the car, you like it, and it makes sense to you- go for it! These things are a blast to drive, all of them! Well ahead of their time.
