Default Restoring silver trim on dash vents and steering wheel

Having the silver trim half worn off on the steering wheel pad of my 82 gl lead me to experiment on a spare I had. I used a silver sharpie and it is absolute spot on and very easy to apply. I decided to refresh the vents as well. Here's the pad.

It looks really good! Exactly what kind of Sharpie did you use? How difficult was it? Do you need a very good pulse?

There are also automotive paint pens that you can buy that have a flat tip...perfect for touching these bits up. It may not be chrome paint like the original, but it's better than having black showing through where it's worn off.

Here's the sharpie. It was easy to do with the flat edge.
