    Default EGR Tube Delete?

    hi everyone, over the winter im going to be accumulating parts for my fox! i want to do the exhaust first. i noticed with the catless h pipes there is no egr tube thing on it? what do i do with it then? also, i dont need any emissions testing for my car so i was just thinking of deleting everything. opinions and wisdom?

    the tube that comes into the mid pipe pipe on the stock exhaust. that is the egr right?

    The only emission tube that I can think of are easy to delete, All you need are the delete plug that go into the back of the heads. $8-10 anywhere. https://lmr.com/item/LRS-6086AK/1979...ZC4aAoUQ8P8HAQ

    No, that's for the "Thermactor" air pump that sends air into the exhaust.

    Ive seen guys break the tip off a spark plug and jam it in there. You can also cut off the tubes that connect between the heads and then flip the brackets upside down and seal them off that way. Its a pain to do with the engine in the car. very little room.

    You only need those fancy plugs for the front of the heads. In the back, a couple of 5/8" set screws from the hardware store will do the job and are easier to install with the motor in the car. Be sure to chase the carbon out of the threads in the heads before you try to screw them in.
