Had the chance to take out both cars the other day for a little joy riding. I finally got the right wheels and tires back on the pace car so now it looks as it should.

It should be far easier to sell with the TRX.
I just installed the new 16x7 TRX wheels from LMR, and I couldn't be happier!
I got the wheel package w/225/55-16 tires, mounted, balanced, and free shipping! ($1000)

Thats going to be my next move if I do not sell it soon.
After I changed my chrome pony wheels to the LMR TRX wheels I have gotten more comments and questions about them and the car in general. Yes they are a aftermarket wheel but its hard to beat the price and the nice original look of the car. I really like your car by the way. Sweet ride.
Thanks, yeah I think they would make my car look really sweet.
I have six original wheels and tires, and it is a shame, but I will also be spending the 1K asking price for the "16 aftermarkets. It just makes sence with all things considered.
Yep, me too, TRX tires are in AWESOME condition. But, I will be going with the "16's as well.
Nice cars, but I have to say that your car was the inspiration to switch to mesh wheels on my Pace Car....
But nothing wrong with going back to TRX, I still have a set for mine.

I DO like the looks of the mesh wheels A LOT and I have them on my 82 now. I will probably wind up putting them back on the Pace Car, it just looks right to me.
I agree the mesh wheels look great on a Pace Car.

Could not agree more with you. Makes me want to change them back this weekend.
We have very similar tastes in our stable:
I need to get my 82 GT T-top outside for a better pic....

Yours dear sir looks WAY better than my at present. You are doing an AWESOME job on yours. I also have a 62 T-bird hanging around my stable.
I had a chance to get a nice set of BBS mesh wheels a while back and I am still kicking myself for not getting them. $150 for the set and they were in really good shape considering their age. Like they say hindsight is 20/20.
Cant tell you how many times I have had the same thing happen!
I recently found a set of 15 inch thick mesh AREs that are in great shape but the guy wants way to much for them. Its funny how things come back in style or things that were in style lets say during the 80s are now all of a sudden fetching a big price. Lots of guys are looking for period correct wheels now for their cars.
Just for the record, My Pace car has been changed back to the black mesh Riken wheels, it just looks natural.
-Mesh are nice, but i do like some TRXs.......
