Frame rail repair

I just bought a 84 notch with frame rail damage and I was thinking about swapping the front clip from a donor car. Any idea how much it would cost for a shop to do it if I supply a pre cut front clip and the just cut the original one of and weld the new one on?

I've done the exact repair on my Capri and to be honest, a good body shop would probably charge more than the car is worth. Check for other rust also, floors, rear frame and cowl. I would invest the money in a better body vs paying someone if you don't feel you can tackle it yourself.

Getting ready to tackle the same repair. I whacked the front off of a donor. You can buy the parts too, but ,$$ouch $$.

Doing same here as well.. 2X3 tubing. Easy stuff. Just take lots of measurements.. can post up pics if interested.
