    Default TPS voltage

Does any body have the voltage requirements to check a throttle position sensor on a fuel injected 2.3?
i think I have one going bad but not sure. Also which wires to test.

Key in Run position, the green wire pierced with a pin, ~0.98-volts at idle, and open the throttle slowly to WOT looking for flat spots or drop outs up to ~4.5-volts at WOT.

Yup, Ever since 1982 its been the same for feedback carb MCU's, CFI, EFI...

I used AK Millers IMPCO LPG Technical Service Bulletins to find the right answers. They've been around for years, saves you wading through all Fords TSB'S

That TPS signal to the MCU changed in 1982 model year, the TPS was of a certain type, then changed to suit the MCU; that can be changed pretty easily.

My readings were a few tenths higher but that's because my idle is a little higher than it should be. No fault of the tps though.

You do have to be cautious though, at around 1.2 volts the ecu will consider the throttle to be partially open and back the iac out in a strategy to bring the engine to idle slowly when the throttle is shut. (less than the threshold voltage).

This could cause a high idle.
