Default Any pictures of an HX35 on an e6 stock manifold?

I'm looking for someone who has put an hx35 Turbo on a stock e6 manifold. Are you still able to run air conditioning? Any pictures would be helpful. I'm looking at putting this combination on my 83 Turbo RS.

    Many Thanks

What kind of performance does the E6 / HX35 combo tap out at. I am looking to build a drag car that is streetable to drive Drag Week or some such nonsense. LOL I bought a Bo-Port Stage 3 head and am leaning towards his Stage 3 cam. Bo said with a good header the HX 35 with his head and cam was good for 425ish rwho. I don't want to buy one of the el cheapo Ebay $110 headers that will probably crack before ever starting the car.

I’ve heard great things about this combinations potential. I also want to get a pimpx controller, do you have one? I had an HX 35 that needed rebuilt and in disassembly found it was not serviceable. I’ve considered trying to mount it on the car just like to prove it can work with air conditioning because I’m not willing to sacrifice that but I’ve not done this yet.

I've already got a Holley HP setup, so I am going with that. I like the Megasquirt/Pimp because of the flat shift feature, but the Holley is pretty robust as well. I'm going to run EFI and the Holley supports a flex fuel sensor and multiple blended timing/fuel tables so that will be really beneficial.

I have it mocked up now.... I’ll try to get some pictures. It all works together in theory but I’m still working on the intercooler tubing for the front mount npr.

That would be cool. I got rid of the E6 and got a twin scroll T4 header. Will still use the HX35, just have to get an adapter. I'd still like to see it and what you're doing with the 2.3 turbo.

Cool. I got the accessories off a 90ish ranger, so I am going passenger side alternator (maybe) with a 90 degree rotated intake to go forward into the intercooler.

Do you have plans to run AC? If so what compressor and brackets will you be using?

Here is a picture of the old setup I was running in my 79, home ported head, hx35 at 20 psi, megasquirt ecu. It was fun to drive the turbo was fairly laggy even with 9.0:1 compression ratio. That setup was years ago, ran a pinto radiator and an all aluminum intercooler out of some type of international truck. Intercooler is still kicking around somewhere.

The alternator bracket was an ac compressor bracket from an xr4ti with a gm alternator in it. The intake is gutted and rotated upper and knife edge lower.

This picture is roughly back in 2008 when I was still in highschool.
