    Check out the color & fabric on these seats from a 83 GT. The owner claims they are from a 83 Mustang GT that was totaled in early 1983 with 600 miles. The seats were removed and have been in dry storage ever since.

    When looking at these seats and then comparing them to the picture at the start of this thread, it's easy to see why everyone is questioning whether the SMS fabric is a match. Personally I think the answer is yes and that the seats do actually wear to more of the grey pattern we are use to seeing.

    Man, if those were the 84 version, I would have snatched them up so fast.

    I ran into the same problems with SMS, colors were off because these are repo materials, not originals, another source I used was more correct for the insert material of (D) Canyon Red for my GT350 front seats., having said that, sun fade does a lot over the years to cloth material, so doing both fronts is needed to match. Also 3 yards is more than enough for front and back.
