Comes wired with the car/info center not clock alone; fits '79-'86 BUT this is from an '84-'85 Mustang/Capri with RED lighting not the blue/green on '79-'83.

I posted on the Elec tech forum about the internals of the clock, I work in the airline business (engine tech) I have one of our avionic techs sorting my clock out, he says it is probably just the filter on the front of the clock making it red as the internal display is always green, I dont doubt these wizards .
