Used them on my Pace Car......
    Very happy with them......
I purchased two sets. Used one set for the door mlds, and cut up the other set to make new mlds for the back of the fenders and the front of the quarter panels.

I bought them but havenīt installed them yet, I measured them by just placing it over the door and they seemed to be about 1/2" short but I know these need to be heated and stretched a bit to install them.

    Quality looks very good

I'll take some photos this weekend as I will have the car out...at the Mustang & Ford show in Louisville KY.
Currently I just used stripe tape all the around...(kind of ran out of time trying to get all together for the Mustang club show in Indy back in Sept.
If you remember I had to take care of the rear bumper issue at the last minute....)

Attached are photos of my Pace Car at a show this weekend......I think the Mlds appear close to the OEM's
Granted, there are a few minor differences......the pinstripe area is inset for stripe tape.
But I think it would take someone with a lot of knowledge about the mlds to see the differences.......

How was the length and height compared to factory? the reason im asking is when i had my car painted i did not take moldings off i had them taped off so if the new ones are any smaller you will see a paint line around them on my car. bigger would be better for me. thanks

As for the door mld, I have had my originals off for so long that I can't make a judgment as to the length. But appears to be correct with space in the front for the opening of the door and gap at the end to match the gaps on the other panels.
And I cut the extra one to the length of the old side mlds for the front of the qrt and the rear of the fenders
If you have painted your car with the mlds attached I have a feeling you are going to run into more of an issue than just length......
Most likely you are going to have a peeling paint problem around the edges of the old mlds.....
No matter how close you try and sand/prep next to an item that is left on a car there is always a very good possibility that you missed a spot and you are not going to have a mechanical bond of the paint to the surface, or you will have "bridging" of the paint to the mld.

Made by Daniel Carpenter (DCM). FMR and LMR are just re-sellers but that's what you have to do because DCM only sells wholesale.

It looks like you used NOS Emblems or did you shorten this?

Usually the 79 is on the Lip of the rear fender for aftermarket.

Here is a post where we talked about this

I also notice some of the decals in that thread (for the date) are red and some are orange....which is correct?

The line below "official pace car" is red, just like the outlining of "official pace car"
If the bottom line looks orange anywhere it must just be the lighting in the photo.......

I used a Phoenix graphics kit I bought over 15 years ago
I will give up one secret........after looking at Steve's unrestored car.....
The horse colors on this old kit are mixed up....
But I think I have found a cure for this issue
