Good lord!! The condition of the driver seat and the hood liner should go a long way to proving that mileage. This is just like my first car back in '87 except mine had the beige interior. Man if I only had the space.

Storage is WAY TOO expensive any more. I already have the '88 Saleen Coupe stored up the street. Just ain't going to happen at this point.

Is this car a TRX car or what wheels should it have?

    Hi all-

Thanks for all the kind words!

Sowax-This was a TRX car, still have the original super wide 190s pulled off at around 20K miles, but I'm keeping those for my second one, sorry. These 15inchers were original Saleen takeoffs bought with near new Gatorbacks for $400 straight from the Saleen factory. I guess it's technically possible they could be the originals that came with your 88 coupe, hmmm...very cool collection btw.

Cheers all and thanks for lookin...

If you blink at the end of the straight away you'll miss the twisties and what fun would that be!

I remember an ad in the back of MM&FF for takeoff pony wheels with factory Michelin or Goodyear tires back in 1993 right from Saleen. Beautiful Capri for sale here. You should take some pics of that undercarriage and show those that don't know why there is nothing like buying a west coast car. Do you have original documentation for the car? I can't help thinking how good a set of the LMR TRX wheels would look on that car.

INDEED! If I bought this car it would be the first $1200 I spend on it for the wheels and tires.

Have to bump this again. Are you SURE you want to sell it? REALLY SURE??? I mean REALLLLYYYY? Not that it matters but since you are the original owner, is this a 49 state car or a CA car? At least I asked something productive when I bumped your ad.

    Hi all-
Sorry for the delayed response....thanks all again for the kind words...unfortunately the original docs have been misplaced idue to many moves...the car is a CA car and has lived lived in CA since Mar 1982...selling it is definitely tough, but if it goes to a good home, it'll be ok...cheers!

Price is the same...I think it is fair for an original owner near showroom car with an unmolested drivetrain...besides, the value surely will skyrocket as soon as I don't own it anymore...
