Sure, I ended up with an '86 (#23), but it it was never as cool as my '85. So glad to have one again and even more so it's a rare Flip Roof '85

Congrats on your purchase Chuck. Glad you are finally able to replace the Coupe that got stolen. Your new one really looks like a nice one.

Thanks guys! A few more weeks of driving in Michigan, but a car I plan to own forever.z
Hopefully, I can close the shipping deal this week. The auction house said they would, but after a week, no real bids on cost. Not waiting.
I had a good experience several years ago shipping an engine-less race car from NC to Oregon using uship.com

Mike, I have used them (on my Shelby) and got some bids, but the "winning" bid ($850 for 2350 miles) from Tacoma to Metro Detroit was from www.autotransport411.com, specifically a broker named DIY Transport and the agent was Gary. The driver is $700, the broker fee was $150.

Delivered today with installed AND spare headlight/tailight covers AND OEM floormats! Yup--two sets of each!
Quite a few stone chips and wheels need attention (straight, paint chipping). Debating on whether to try to fix chips or shoot the whole car. It's a keeper and I have all winter to think on it.
Yes, that silly bra came off. Seemed to do as much damage as it prevented.
Looks great! Thanks for posting pictures of it. I can imagine how excited you must be after such a long time since your last one. The spare headlight/taillight covers and floor mats are a great bonus. That would be a hard decision as to fix the chips or paint the entire car. If that is the original paint, it looks pretty good and would make the decision even harder.
You feel my pain.... Talked to a painter today. He's convinced front clip and touchups are enough.
That's pretty much my ideal Fox right there.
